The annual DC Love Festival is starting out as a 1 night music and trunk shows festival featuring sounds from some of the world’s most Love focused performers on the special holiday weekend of Mother’s Day. The event plans to attract 3000+ participants and continue to set raise the bar each year as it transfers the Washington Convention Center into a epicenter of progressive music and vendors.
DC Love Fest will be a ritual affirmation of the value of DC creative community in commerce and a festive showcase of the amazing DC talent and trunk shows. The Fest will have over 20 unique vendors, 10 performers, 4 Djs, 3 photo booths, 2 Stages, and several special lounges set up by brand sponsors. Catering and bars are provided by Center Piece. The DC Love Fest will provide both VIP seating and dancing areas to ensure participants are comfortable and enjoying all aspects of the event.
In addition, the festival proudly announces the musical guests Raheem Devaughn and Marsha Ambrosius along with DMV’s own Black Alley, Lysette Titi, B. Blunt, John Michael, Kyonte, and many DC born musicians. Both Raheem and Marsha are releasing new projects that coincidence with the festival’s mission to spread love (“A Place Called Love Land” and “Friends and Lovers“ respectively). Lastly, Radio-One is joining hands with the team to create a jam-packed house.
